Rani Indian Kitchen

Our story began in the early 1970s when my father opened his very first restaurant, Rani. Years later, he opened Mak Syed, where I grew up learning the trade and working alongside him from a young age.

He taught me everything I know about food, hospitality, and looking after our guests. When he passed away, I reopened Rani to honour the restaurant where our family’s journey first began and to continue the legacy he worked so hard to build.

Today, Rani blends generations of experience with a modern approach to dining, serving the authentic flavours and warm hospitality that have been at the heart of our family for over 60 years.

After all, some traditions are simply too good to leave behind.
